Currently CEO of Firm58, a SaaS based software firm that leads the market in Comprehensive Commission Management solutions to Capital Markets firms. Nick was the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Parlano (acquired by Microsoft - Oct. 2007). Nick was responsibile for managing all business functions and directing the growth of the business. Nick is a leader and veteran of the high tech industry with 20 years experience in both large and early stage companies. Before joining Parlano, Nick served as Vice President of the Internet Commerce and Director of Year 2000 desktop solutions at PLATINUM technology, a $1 billion provider of information technology management software and services. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of The Alcar Group Inc. (acquired by Hyperion Solutions), a private software firm specializing in technology for strategic financial planning and mergers & acquisition analysis. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
